I love the Keep calm and Carry On meme!! Hurrah for British propaganda from 1939. Of course I have a board for some of my favourites. I’m not literary enough to write (of appreciate) haiku’s, but the simplicity and wit of these posters are right up my alley.
I knew I wanted to have some in my home. But probably won’t look perfect. More like a magazine cut-out on a tween’s bedroom. Cause crafts don’t have to be perfect, as long as you just carry on crafting.
I have a weakness for fridge magnets, and even more so for magnet frames. I recently rearranged my fridge stash, updated some photos… and this Sasco once my Mom sent me is perfect for the faux gilt frame I had in mind for Keep Calm prints.
I trimmed the inside, photoshopped a google image to within an inch op it’s pixelated life. I was in too much of a hurry to modge podge the paper frame to the magnet, but regular glue stick worked fine.
I love how it turned out! Going to cycle them weekly… maybe daily in the beginning 😉
And yes, those are vinyl stickers on my fridge.
